L.E.A.R.N. (Learning Every Artist's Real Needs) is an initiative tackling the socio-economic challenges faced by emerging artists through mentorship, surveys, and meaningful dialogue, highlighting key factors in artistic development.
Our goal is to use this data to advocate for more arts education support in the Greater Jackson Area. As a network connecting public, private, and community entities, L.E.A.R.N. is dedicated to enhancing visual, performing, and fine arts education, viewed through the prism of musicianship. Our primary aim is to nurture the growth, learning, and retention of Mississippi's future performers and artists.
L.E.A.R.N. seeks to be a valuable resource for parents, teachers, students, and activists in the performing arts realm. Our programming includes the LEARN Our Students Survey, a civic engagement tool designed to amplify student voices in arts and music education, helping us as an organization and community to step forward in creating effective programs and resources. Additionally, our L.E.A.R.N. Windstar program offers supplemental instrumental education for learners of all ages, combining traditional methods from local music educators with the innovative Nuvo Windstar instruments and curriculum.
Together, our data-driven survey and educational offerings aim to empower our community members to become enduring, successful contributors to the music and arts sectors. To discover more about our L.E.A.R.N. programs, please follow the links provided below.
